🚴 Thank You — Highs & Lows Tour

On Saturday, August 8, just under 200 riders rolled out from Plymouth Regional High School and headed into the Baker River Valley. Some took on the century and the long climb over Mount Cube. Some found their rhythm on the gravel through Perch Pond Road and Sandwich Notch. Some rode the 26-miler at a pace that left room for conversation. Every one of them rode for the same reason.

The Highs & Lows Tour has never been about finishing times. It's about the fact that mental health touches every one of us, and that a day spent riding, cheering, and sitting together afterward is one small way of saying nobody has to carry it alone.

Our volunteers made the day possible. Dozens of people gave their Saturday to this ride — marking courses before sunrise, staffing rest stops, driving SAG, serving food, pouring water, cheering the riders, setting up the community event, and breaking it all down long after the last rider came in. They are the reason the day ran the way it did, and they asked for nothing in return.

To our sponsors, suppliers, and vendors — thank you. Your support is what turns an idea into a fully supported ride with stocked rest stops, safe roads, and a celebration at the finish:

Gold — SBLI Life Insurance, Sakowich Foundation, The Colantuoni Family, Speare Memorial Hospital

Silver — Cycles Etc, NBT Bank, Episcopal Church of NH, Roper Real Estate, The Rollins Family, Spectrum Marketing Companies, The Common Man, Tower Hill Sales, Pfizer

Bronze — Athletic Brewing, Capital Imprints, Hannaford, Atlantic Data Security, Annie's Overflow Restaurant, Kim & Tim Miller Family Foundation, U.S. Foods, Riess Construction, Security Storage

Media — Lakes 101.5, The Hawk Radio, Mountain Country NH

Partner Organizations & Schools — Holderness School, Plymouth Regional High School, Proctor Academy, NH Trooper Association, Plymouth Police Department, Bike the North Country, Hidden Battles Foundation, Anew Behavioral Health, Camp Resilience

Valued Sponsors — Rhino Bike Works, S&W Sports, MC Cycle & Sport, Ore Mill, American Legion–Londonderry,

Thank you as well to Plymouth Regional High School for hosting us, and to the Plymouth Police Department and NH Trooper Association for keeping our riders safe on the road.

To everyone who rode, volunteered, sponsored, donated, or simply showed up to cheer — thank you. Nobody rode alone.

📸 Share Your Photos

We'd love to see the day through your eyes. If you took photos on August 8 — out on the course, at a rest stop, at the finish line, at the community event, or during setup and breakdown — please share them with us.

Riders, families, spectators, volunteers, and sponsors are all welcome to contribute. Candid shots are every bit as valuable as polished ones; some of the best moments of the day happened off to the side of the road.

Information

🚴‍♂️ The Highs & Lows Tour: A Ride for Every Journey 🚴‍♂️

The Highs & Lows Tour is a one-day cycling event featuring a variety of routes designed to showcase the natural beauty and terrain of New Hampshire. Riders can choose from traditional road routes, mixed-surface gravel adventures, and—new for 2026—a mountain biking option that opens up even more ways to explore.

This year, all rides begin and end on the scenic campus of Plymouth Regional High School, nestled at the gateway to the Pemi-Baker Valley. From there, road riders will explore the Baker River Valley, winding through charming towns and surrounded by stunning mountain views. Those tackling the full century will venture even farther—into the Connecticut River Valley and over Mount Cube—for a truly epic experience.

The mixed-surface routes wind through quiet backroads, cross covered bridges, and feature classic gravel roads such as Perch Pond Road and Sandwich Notch. For riders hungry for more miles after lunch, the full 65-mile course is among the most challenging adventures conceivable on two wheels. The post-lunch 25-mile segment includes iconic climbs like Texas Hill, Bridgewater Hill, and Poole Hill, packing 3,500 feet of elevation gain into this leg alone—destined to become a classic bucket-list ride.

Mountain bikers will find beginner-friendly options right at Plymouth Regional High School, along with more advanced loop options at Holderness School, just a short ride or drive away. More details on the inaugural mountain bike offering will be available soon.

All road and mixed-surface routes are fully supported, with SAG vehicles and well-stocked rest stops providing hydration, nutrition, and encouragement along the way. The mountain bike event will also feature a central, fully supported rest stop.

Whether you prefer pavement, gravel, or singletrack, the Highs & Lows Tour is a multi-course event built for every rider, every pace, and every purpose.

And when the riding is done, the celebration continues with a community event featuring games, music, and entertainment for riders, families, and supporters alike.
